deepin 25 Beta Release: Building on Stability, Opening Beta for Co-creation
After months of dedicated development, deepin 25 Beta was released on May 23rd. Focusing on system stability, this version comprehensively resolves key issues from the Alpha phase, including abnormal upgrade booting, failure of the "Rock Solid System Protection" feature, and multi-screen scaling adaptation for the Desktop Environment (DDE). Hardware compatibility has also been optimized, significantly improving support for peripherals and SMB services.
Functionally, this update lowers the barrier for global users: the installer adds support for 17 new languages, and the App Store expands its adaptation for ARM64/Loong64 architectures, offering developers more flexible distribution solutions. UOS AI gains a conversation history management feature and supports online updates for local models, continuously optimizing the interaction experience.
To harness community power, deepin has simultaneously opened its beta channel. Forum users with Level 2 or higher can preview unreleased experimental features and contribute to refining the final release through feedback and suggestions.
Next, the team will focus on finalizing stability and iterating beta features, steadily progressing towards the official release. -
deepin 23.1 Official Version Update: Focused on User Experience & System Stability
On May 20th, deepin 23.1 received a new round of feature optimizations and issue fixes. Within the UOS AI module, users can now create new sessions, view conversation history, and update local models in real-time, enhancing the utility and responsiveness of the AI tool.
This update specifically addresses several detail-level issues impacting user experience: fixes include unresponsive keys during desktop icon renaming, file manager stuttering caused by abnormal symbolic links, and stability defects in the Ruyi Linglong application (build tool errors, initial launch failures, abnormal link opening), providing users with a smoother system operation experience. -
